About WRIN

Welcome. We are pleased to share with you some of the exciting plans we have for our organization, as well as some of our early accomplishments. We hope our web site provides a greater understanding of our goals and inspires both increased interest from the campus and a willingness from the community to support our mission.

We are continually in the process of defining ways we can help improve the lives of women in our state through research and education. Though we have many goals, our central mission is to support Nevada students and faculty as they endeavor to expand the existing body of knowledge on a variety of subjects related to women.

On campus, we are already recruiting faculty members committed to meeting the challenge of producing high-quality research on women. In the community, we are building partnerships will enable us to address important questions about Nevada women. We are actively raising the funds necessary to offer a wider range of activities and programs that support our mission.
